Happy birthday, Lira!!!

According to my worst-case scenario daily survival calendar:
On this day in 1987, Susan Butcher won her second consecutive Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, mushing 1,161 miles from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska, in 11 days, 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 13 seconds. Butcher would win again in 1988, becoming the first person to win the Iditarod three times in a row.

But who cares, because it's Lira's birthday!!! *cuddle* *tackle*

And someone higher up seems to have given her a birthday present because Dean Lombardi (Sharks GM) got fired. :D

My turn:

ICE CHIP: The most famous penalty timekeeper ever to do the job is Sandy Hawley, who worked the job part-time for the Los Angeles Kings. Of course, Hawley's fame came on the race track where, as a jockey, he won more than 7000 races.
