Hairstyles change, clothes change...

I twinged some muscle in my back so it hurts a bit when I breathe deeply, the ball of my right foot hurts a bit when I put pressure on it, and I have some weird lingering post-nasal drip thing going on so I cough every now and then. It's like, not bad at all, but a bunch of little annoying things. Death by a thousand paper cuts. :P

Going to the Giants game with Tati tonight!!! And Bumgarner will be pitching, not Vogelsong. I swear, every game I've gone to with her, it's (randomly) been Vogelsong. I intentionally switched from my first choice of date just so it wouldn't be him again, hehe. I'm bringing her little Mickey Mouse Giants cap and she wanted to bring her bat and ball too and I explained that they have them at the park, hehe. (In the mini replica AT&T park)

Watched Terra Nova last night, and I enjoyed it. I'm glad they didn't fall into the trap of, "Umm, hey there are dinosaurs! What do you need plot and characters for???" That show looks expensive to make, though. I don't know if it's viable in the long run or not, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts! I'm also thankful that even though it's shot in Australia, there are no Australian accents. I really hate hearing the one character with an accent in a TV show or movie (The doctor does bother me a bit). It's okay if it's like an Australian series and everyone has an Australian accent, but it bugs me when one person sounds different from everyone else. [ Edit: (minor spoilers) I like that they went for the "different time stream" explanation, which avoids the whole thing where they can affect the future and all of the accompanying time paradox stuff. But I don't like that they chickened out and didn't kill a kid. They did sort of prove their point that Terra Nova is a dangerous place, but I think they could have taken that extra step, especially because it seemed so far-fetched that the kid didn't die. ]

I started watching Mike Modano: American Icon this morning and I love that his enduring thought about his draft day is that he regrets the mullet LOL. This doesn't seem to be online anywhere, so I'll upload it at some point, maybe tomorrow. There might be something wrong with my recording, though. :( I'll try to fix it.

Lol, that sounds like what I was going through a few weeks ago. Hope you feel better!

I seriously can't believe that Modano retired. It's going to be surreal when Lidstrom and Selanne retire. Unimaginable.

It's very mild stuff. I think I'm just getting old! *weeps*

I started watching hockey relatively late, so I don't have the experience of watching a player through the whole process of getting drafted all the way to retirement. It will be really strange when someone like JJ retires!

Omg, the day JJ retires I will be a MESS.

My hero! My Captain America!

Haha, and Crosby will be at his retirement ceremony (if there's one) and he'll get more camera time than JJ. :P

He seemed really regretful! :P

I did not think Terra Nova sucked! But then I saw who was an executive producer, and who wrote the second hour, and I cringed cause he almost single handedly killed Star Trek.

Well, I hope the ratings pick up or there won't be a second season!

I just barfed at the words Mike Modano: American Icon.

The phrase "greatest American-born player" was thrown around a lot, haha.
