Current Mood:: groggy

Up at Chip and Jenny's place in Truckee (near Lake Tahoe) until next Wednesday. So far it's been very active--skiing Saturday and Sunday, and some sledding yesterday. :D Also, lots of good food as Jenny is an excellent chef, and we also went to an awesome Japanese restaurant called "Drunken Monkey" Sunday night.

It's like a working vacation!

The complete boxed set of Deadwood is on sale at Amazon for $75 today. Worth getting?

The only reason I am not jumping on Amazon's gold box deal is because I already own Season 1. But I haven't seen those season boxsets for less than $35 a piece (and they're usually more like 45-50), so this is a great price for the whole series.

It's a terrific show - definitely in my personal top 10. If you don't like it, I'll buy Seasons 2 and 3 from you ;)

Maybe you could buy it and sell season 1! I'm a fan of Wild West and pioneer stuff (though not necessarily Westerns, except for Unforgiven) so I think I'll probably like it.
