XBox 360 at spring training!

Listened to more KNBR interviews:

Brian Campbell - surprisingly articulate and insightful, and not a "for sure" or "unbelievable" uttered! Asked about why the playoffs are so different from the regular season, his answer was that it's because "guys play out of character". I like that. :)

Matt Cain - they asked him what music should be used for his entrance music (on radio shows) and he answered Mississippi Queen and I was like OMG OMG OMG HE PLAYS ROCK BAND!!! But then he said it was from Guitar Hero and it's on Guitar Hero 3, but then he talked about Green Grass and High Tides and I think that one's only on Rock Band, which is much more exciting. :P

Tim Lincecum - is older than Matt Cain. SO WRONG. Also, he brought an Xbox 360 with him and plays Call of Duty 3. :D But no Rock Band or Guitar Hero. :( Maybe Matt Cain can get him hooked.

He's not ESL. Or hasn't hung around long enough with Milan, one of the two.

Our Canadians say it all the time, too!

Green Grass and High Tides is on Rock Band?!

I knew about Boston's Foreplay/Long Time, but that's awesome!

I wish I had Rock Band. I wish my brother hadn't lost his GH1 too.

Yes!!! OMG that song is a killer on drums. I think I strained something in my foot playing that.

Rock Band is tons of fun! I have agonized over whether to get it or not, but decided against because I only have a PS2 and that version is lacking many features, most notably the ability to buy new songs for the game. If I had a PS3 or Xbox 360...

Maybe it's a CA transplant thing to say "for sure."

I do like the "out of character" business b/c there's always one dude who gets like 198432184390428 goals in the playoffs and 0 in the regular season. It's craaaaaazay.

Heh, that's actually what he went on to elaborate--the unexpected guys scoring big goals in the playoffs. Let's see what the freaky little redhead does.

But! But Tim Lincecum is twelve!

Indeed he is! Matt Cain said that he treats Lincecum like he's younger than him. :P

I find it hard to believe he's older. :P Uh Lincecum, that is.

You know, after you guys got him and Murray talked about pushing hard for him, I realized I was disappointed that it didn't work out for us. I think he'll be good for the Sharks. :)

Each team can have only one redhead. Unless they have twins.

Brian Campbell,"Soupy" is great and what a great pickup by your team=) I miss him on Buffalo but they missed their chance at signing him.

Okay but now you are making me love Steve Bernier now=)

I was surprised that we got him at a fair price, given how sought after he was.

Bernie is great. :) Hopefully being in Buffalo will be good for him in terms of developing his offensive skills even more.

Soupy's freakin' awesome.

And yes, very articulate.

He's also done some seriously amusing commercials for local Buffalo places. I think you can find them on you tube. One of them was for a doctor specializing in people who sweat a lot. *L* It's just amusing.

His bizarre lovefest with Joe Thornton freaks me out.

Well they know each other from whewn they were kids apparently. And Thornton does get way too much pleasure out of Campbell doing laundry.

Thornton apparently also speaks for Soupy, as Thornton's already said Soupy's staying in San Jose for the next few years. Which would make me sad. I want Soupy over here so I can more conveniently drool over him. I can't explain it. I don't like redheads, but Soupy's freakin hot.

Yes, I know. Doesn't make it any less freakish. :P

I'm not convinced that he'll stay. It would be nice if he did, but it's okay if he doesn't.
