Let's rock!

I borrowed Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II and and Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s from Alex while he's out of town. My strumming thumb is cramping up.

I actually think GH III has the best music, but all are so fun. I was especially excited about the 80s edition because I'm an 80s geek like that.

If you like music games, you might want to check out Amplitude also. It's for the PS2 originally I think, and doesn't have any special controllers, but is still a blast with a lot of fun music in it as well.

I'm intrigued by the coop career mode in GH3! I'm a sucker for coop games in general. :) I think Alex has that one, but for Xbox 360 so maybe we can play next time I'm there.

Is Fat Lip one of the songs? Because that might be, like, the one song I know. I have worked for much of my life to forget the 80's ever happened, who knew it would ever be useful knowledge??

It is! I've played that like 2840072074 times trying to get a 100% score, heh. I know very few of the songs myself. There's that, I Love Rock and Roll and Smoke on the Water. Most of them are not bad, though. Very hard rock and metal.

You know, I'm kinda actually worried that we may have hockey related injuries because of this Guitar Hero. I recently heard my boys were playing it a lot and now I fear for a Detroit Tigers reprisal.

I don't know how you could get any kind of sudden injury from Guitar Hero. Like, if you ignored the pain and played for like 14 hours straight maybe something might happen, but it's really not a violent sort of game!

But they're trained to play through the pain!!!
