Urgh, assembled furniture for two hours. Have mysterious bruise all across calf. *pokes it* Ow.

Welcome back, spoothbrush!

I'm meeting Lira and CC for dinner tomorrow! I didn't know that California Pizza Kitchen was a national chain/franchise/whatever. I thought it was, well, only in California. :P

So tired, but must angstify Whore for a bit before sleep ...

It took you two hours to assemble furniture? Were you, by chance, using one nail and a pocket screwdriver?

*hangs head* I didn't know that California Pizza Kitchen was even from California. I just thought the owner thought it was a cool name.

I was using one of those tiny, umm, L-shaped pieces of metal, that kept slipping out of the screws.

It was started by two lawyers in Beverly Hills, which kind of disturbs me, for some reason.

I believe you are referring to an L-bracket, yes?

That is faintly disturbing. It is beyond me why any lawyer would want to open a pizza kitchen.

I have no idea, it came with the screws. Ikea is not big with the words. Actually, there are no words at all in the instructions. :P

Just remember that if all else fails, you can use O-rings. *nodnod*

Ikea is kind of...frightening. Their stores are so freakishly blue, they make the sky around them look yellow by comparison.

They are terrifying in their nationalism. I mean, what other company is that proud of its flag colors that it's part of that corporate identity?

Certainly gives credence to the whole alien!Mats thing. :P

They ARE terrifying. You can see the building by the freeway into Chicago for about ten minutes approaching and ten minutes receding. (Also, it's flat here.)

*shudders* Alien!Mats is terrifying in itself.

That must totally be their strategy. That big block of blue (with yellow highlights) extends their sphere of dominion.

And so hilarious! :D

Allen wrench!

It's kind of hexagonal, right?

Yep, it's hexagonal! I think calling that flimsy thing a "wrench" is kind of flattering it though. :P
